Course Overview

On the outskirts of St. Andrews lies one of the best inland venues in the region. The course is set on 250 acres of spectacular Fife countryside, which weaves through a natural bird and wildlife haven.

Drumoig is a hugely underrated golf course that’s full of interesting holes not to mention quite possibly the best turn in Scottish golf. Holes nine, ten and eleven are exceptional and play around water. The new 18th hole par 4 is surrounded by water with the Hotel above you on the hill. Stray offline here and you’re in trouble!
Marvel at the views across St Andrews bay, the River Tay and Carnoustie. Set in an area that offers travelling golfers much to do. 

From the back tees, the course provides an excellent challenge for the more advanced golfer and from the front tees the amateur golfer can not only enjoy their game. The course is prepared to the highest standard. During its history, Drumoig has continued to strengthen in maturity and reputation.

Course Etiquette

Dress Code Smart/casual. Denim jeans, untailored shorts, football tops and trainers are not permitted on the course.
Food & Drink must not be brought into the Clubhouse and no alcohol is allowed on the course.
Speed of Play All golfers must keep up a good pace of play and should keep up with the game in front.
Slow Play must be avoided at all times. The maximum time for a 4 ball is 4 hours (less for 3-balls and 2-balls).
Course Repairs Please look after our course - replace all divots, repair all pitch marks and rake the bunkers after use.
Buggies Players driving buggies must be 18 years of age or over and must read the instructions prior to use. The buggies are for maximum of 2 players and 2 sets of clubs. They must be used sensibly and kept away from the greens and tees. You are reminded that alcohol is not permitted in the buggies.

Drumoig Golf Hotel comprises 29 en-suite bedrooms, of which 24 are located in unique lodges adjacent to the main facilities. Rooms are tastefully furnished and include freeview TV, plus complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Five further luxury rooms can be found on the upper level of the main building. All our bedrooms are en-suite and guarantee that you can relax and unwind after an exciting day on the golf course.

Many rooms have balconies that provide residents with a spectacular view across the golf course, lochs and Fife country side.
